Note Taking Services

  • Request note taking services using the SAS online system (ClockWork).
  • For the best service, request ‘Course Notes’ as soon as registration for courses is complete.  
  • Determine with Accessibility Advisors the number of courses for which note taking services are required
  • Complete paperwork to apply for funding.
  • Provide instructors with a “Letter of Accommodation” from SAS, to introduce the instructor to his/her role in the accommodation process.

How does notetaking work with clockwork?

  • Volunteers upload sample notes into ClockWork
  • SAS students view sample notes and chose one note taker per class in ClockWork
  • Chosen note takers take notes and keeps uploadingh them into ClockWork
  • SAS students access the notes online



**In cases in which accessibility-related needs require altering of these arrangements, students and SAS Accessibility Advisors must review need and services on a case-by-case basis
